The work of Friends of the Dart is supported entirely through grant funding and donations.

We are focused on the following projects for which we are seeking funding.

  1. We are extending our testing programme from Source to Sea and introducing chemical testing and other approaches.

  2. We are looking at ways that we can share testing data and other information with River Users.

  3. We are recruiting staff into roles to support our work.

  4. We are building a model of good practice to share with others embarking on a similar journey for their river.

  5. We will submit further bathing water application to DEFRA for the River Dart.

This Community group is transitioning to a CIC in early December 2023.
